It depicts the Italian military campaign of 1940-42 (and the Yugoslavian counter attacks), and the Allied campaign against the Axis forces from 1943. Overprinted graphics on the map depict the changing position of the battle lines, the principal landings, assaults and counter-attacks, important battle sites, naval bombardments and important defensive positions.
